Going to WDW in July. We are taking my 61 year old mother with our family of 4. Wondering which WDW park will we be doing the most walking in, so we can plan accordingly. We don't want really sore feet our first day. Thank You

    Hi Renda,

I can guarantee that you will be doing a lot of walking on your Disney vacation, so make sure everyone has a pair of comfortable shoes.

Having said that, some parks are definitely larger than others.  I would say that Epcot and Animal Kingdom are the largest parks.  Many of the attractions at Animal Kingdom are walking trails, so this adds to the time you'll spend on your feet.

Hollywood Studios is the smallest park (at least that's how it seems), and many of the attractions are shows that allow you to sit and rest for a period of time.  This park is the easiest on the feet in my opinion.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
