Will be at WDW in july, staying at the Wilderness Cabins. Is there a parking pad at the cabin or will we have to park our car at the lodge. we come to Disney ever year but this is our first time at the WDC.

We are long time resort guests at the Yacht and Beach Club but last year we tried the Fort Wilderness cabins and we are now hooked on at least once a year heading back there!

Each cabin will have a parking spot for a car and a golf cart with plug in if you are choosing to rent one during your stay.  You can come and go with your car or keep it parked and use the bus system during your entire visit.  Fort Wilderness has internal buses that will pick you up at one of many stops and will take you to either the Pioneer Hall and marina end or the main bus depot where you can catch park buses.  It is easy to use and very efficient.

The cabins have one bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds, small closet, small dresser drawers, tv, and small night stand. Just outside in the hall is the bathroom.  The kitchens are large with plenty of storage and full size appliances. The table has a bench and three chairs and the living end of this room has a sofa, coffee table, and child's size table and two chairs.  There is a bit more storage here under the windows as well as under the tv.  Outside you have a nice deck with a small grill.  What we enjoy most is the peacefulness and the feel of the outdoors.  Spending a day in a busy park makes coming home to quiet even more inviting!
