    Hi! We will be in WDW July 6-13 2010. We are staying off site. Each day I plan on visiting the parks without EMH since we cannot take advantage of them. If the park opens at 9 what time should we arrive at the parking lot? Thanks!

    Hi Kim,

    For most of the parks I would recommend arriving by 8:30 if you want to be right up front when the park opens. If your visiting the Magic Kingdom, plan to arrive at the parking lot by 8:15. 

    When you drive to the Magic Kingdom you need to take either the monorail or a ferry to reach the park.  I find that as long as it isn't crowded, the monorail is your faster option.  When the Ticket and Transportation center is crowded the ferry can be quicker because it can accommodate many more guests.
