Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Elaine!
I have experienced 4th of July at Walt Disney World® Resort several years in a row, and can tell you Disney's Celebrate America - A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky is, by far, the best fireworks display Disney has to offer! I can also say you've made a great decision in choosing to see this patriotic show outside of Magic Kingdom. To really take in the grandeur of it all you need to be along Seven Seas Lagoon.
Guests may book
Specialty Fireworks Cruises 180 days in advance with payment expected at time of booking. In addition, the 4th of July cruises are considered a "Premium Event Night" and include a pre-fireworks party with food and beverage. Premium Event Fireworks Cruises cost $957.54 and include up to ten guests.
This 4th of July, my family and I caught the sights and sounds of the 5:30pm showing of
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, and it could not have worked out more perfectly! Located in Luau Cove at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you'll already be in position to view the fireworks from the best location possible. Once the show lets out, grab a spot in the grassy area, or on the beach, and enjoy the ambiance until the fireworks being. Without giving away too many details about the fireworks display, I promise this is the best spot! The best part, with a dining reservation, you'll be allowed to park at the resort, which will be reserved only for guests of the resort, or those with dining reservations. Another option is to book a dining reservation at 'Ohana or Kona Cafe. Either way, making your way over to the "Poly" will really be worth it.
I hope this helps, Elaine! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
