wdw in July, party of 9 - Kidani village (dvc member) 1ad had surgery for esophogeal cancer and can only eat tiny potions at a time/very limited choices. Want to get the dp for our grp who can I contact about getting him exempt - dvc dining was not helpful

    Hello, Lynn,

I'm sure you are certainly frustrated, and I can empathize with your experience.  We have traveled with my parents to WDW, and my mother has a small appetite as well because of her medical conditions.  When we travel with them, we book separate vacation packages so that my family can book the Disney Dining Plan while my parents opt not to book it.

Since this may not be an option for you, I would encourage you to contact someone from Disney Special Diets at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com to assist you.  I can't guarantee that an exemption can be made, but at least it is another option for you to reach out to someone to try and make it work.

Wishing you a magical trip and hoping it will send lots of healing pixie dust your way!
