I am going to WDW in July 2018. We are not staying at one of the Disney resorts, we are off property. I wanted to purchase the meal plan, is that possible? If so, how? Thank you!

    Hi Stephanie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are planning a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and it's just around the corner! Be sure to take advantage of the FastPass+ System during your trip to make the most of your time at the theme parks. While you can begin making your FastPass+ reservations 30 days in advance, reservations are limited so I recommend that you make them as early as you can!

Disney dining plans are a great way to pay for the majority of your dining expenses in advance of your trip. Guests can only add a dining plan to their vacation as part of a Magic Your Way Vacation Package which also includes a stay at a Disney Resort hotel and Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets. Dining plans are linked to your Disney Resort hotel reservation and dining entitlements are based on the number of nights on your hotel reservation. So unfortunately, you will not be able to purchase a dining plan during your trip as you are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel.

This won't stop you from enjoying the fantastic dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation. If you are interested in paying for expenses in advance of your trip, I would recommend that you purchase Disney Gift Cards to use for meals, souvenEARs and other expenses during your vacation.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
