we are going to WDW in July and I know it will be hot.... any suggestions to keep us and the 4 kids (ages 4-14) cool while in the parks?

    Hi Jeana,

I was in Walt Disney World in August and it was a little on the hot side (to say the least!).  I found that the water spray bottles that Disney World sells all around the parks that have built-in fans, (so you can spray and fan at the same time!) were real lifesavers. I really mean it, without these I think we would have collapsed!!  I also found a neat little trick which was to take a face cloth along and keep dousing it in the coldest water we could find (hint: we got drink cups with ice water and kept pouring it on the face cloths to keep them ice cold!) and then we placed them around the back of our necks.  If you keep your neck cool, your body temperature should stay fairly low (and it worked fine for us!).  These are also handy for wiping your face when you are having a sweat attack....kind of yucky I know, but it happens!!!

    Stay cool!
