We are going to WDW in July for the first time. I'm confused about the park passes and how they work. We are staying in the Downtown Disney area. We know we want to visit Magic Kingdom. Are there different passes or does 1 park pass work for that?

All the parks cost the same amount to go.  When you buy the one day pass you will be able to go to any park that day.  If you buy a one day park hopper ticket you can go to multiple parks in the same day.

You can also buy 2-10 day passes.  If you don't purchase the hopper option you will not be able to leave one and enter another on the same day.

When you buy the tickets you will also have the option of purchasing a no expiration add-on.  This may make sense if you plan on returning in the future.

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
