HI! Going to WDW in July with the Dining plan, one TS, QS one snack each day. I know I'm late getting started with meal planning but need to know is planning 2 TS meals in one day too much food. going with husband and 7 year old girl. Any suggestions?

Howdy Toni!  This is a great question and one that will have a variety of answers.

We have some good friends that get the Deluxe Dining Plan each trip they make and typically each 2 table service meals each day.  They love it!

Because of the way you asked your question, I feel like you are going to have dining habits that are similar to mine.  Prior to becoming parents, my husband and I spent a week at Walt Disney World and dined at two table service locations each day.  We were miserable (truly miserable) by the end of the week.  For us, it was too much food.

However, if you are only looking at a day or two during your upcoming vacation, I think you will be fine.  You will just need to think about the time of day and amount of food you will have at each restaurant.

We were at Walt Disney World not long ago and enjoyed two table service meals our 1st full day at the resort.  We started the day at the Character Breakfast at Cape May Café (Beach Club) and ended the day (complete with Nemo Cupcakes) at Narcoossee's (Grand Floridian).  It was perfect.  Not too much food and because the initial meal included Characters, our kiddos (currently 4 and 6) were fine sitting for the extended meals.

Some of our favorites include Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (your 7 year old princess will love it!!!), Teppan Edo and Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria at Epcot.  The Character Breakfast Buffet at Hollywood and Vine (Disney's Hollywood Studios) is wonderful!  If you can make a reservation at Be Our Guest, be sure to do so.  Otherwise, try to visit for lunch and use your quick-service entitlements.  Truly a magical experience.

I'm so excited for you!!!  July will be here before you know it!!  Please let me know if you have any further questions as you make your dining reservations and have a magical day!!
