So, I am going to WDW in July 2014 for my 21st Birthday. I want to get a Minnie headband to wear while I am there (since i hate hats) but I don't know if I should wait til closer to date to get one or even get one at Disney World. What is the best idea?

    Hi, Erin!

A very happy (early) birthday to you! What a great way to celebrate, too...with a trip to Walt Disney World! Woo hoo!

If you're thinking of getting a very popular Minnie Mouse Headband, take a look at those for sale at Disney Store.com. There are several from which you may choose, giving you just the right look for your big day. Consider purchasing your headband when Disney Store.com offers free shipping and has a great % off sale (I've seen savings of 30% listed recently); maybe you can add a festive Tee shirt with that extra cash! If ordering before your trip, be sure to do so with enough time for your item(s) to get to you before you leave. I suggest that you decide which headband you'd like to own, keep an eye on Disney Store.com for specials and purchase as soon as you see a sale that suits you. This way, you'll begin your birthday celebration from the moment you leave your house, or arrive in the parks.

Don't forget to stop by Guest Services to pick up a Birthday Celebration Recognition Button; Cast Members and Guests alike will wish you a very happy birthday throughout your day. As silly as this may seem, it's virtually impossible to resist feeling a little extra-special on your big day when dozens of well-wishers sprinkle a little pixie-dust on your birthday in a WDW park. Have fun!

Be sure to send more questions as you plan your birthday celebration in Walt Disney World, Erin; we love to help!
