We are going to be at WDW from July 29 through August 2. We have a 5 year old and an 8 year old. We have purchased the dining plan. What would be the best table service restaurants for our children? Thanks.

Hi Christi! Walt Disney World is full of awesome restaurants and it really depends on the food and atmosphere that appeals to your family. There are some very unique experiences in the parks and the resorts that can make dining so much fun. Some spots will require two table service credits per guest so please check that out before making your plan for the week. You can always use credits for one meal and then pay cash/credit card for another if that works best for you.

My favorite Table Service locations in the parks are as follows:
Magic Kingdom: Liberty Tree Tavern, Plaza Restaurant (I did not add Be Our Guest as it does not have a very kid friendly menu in my opinion and my own grandchildren will not go back)
    Animal Kingdom: Tusker House
Hollywood Studios: 50's Primetime Cafe, Sci-Fi Dine In Theater, Mama Melrose
Epcot: Garden Grill, Germany's Biergarten (they can move around and dance their energy off), Teppanyaki in Japan (cook in front of you), La Hacienda in Mexico for dinner, and my all time favorite.....Via Napoli in Italy where you will find the absolute BEST pizza ever!

    Resort favorites include:
Citricos and 1900 Park Faire in the Grand Floridian, Ohanas in the Polynesian, Whispering Canyon in the Wilderness Lodge, Trails End in Fort Wilderness, Yachtsman Steakhouse in the Yacht Club, and Flying Fish in the Boardwalk. There are many more but these are indeed my favorite. Please remember that ALL Disney restaurants welcome children of all ages with the exception of Victoria and Alberts which does have an age limit. They will all have menus for them to order from and will assist you in your meal to make each one a pleasant experience. You can find the menus to each on line if you feel it is worth looking at them ahead of time.
