Hi. Will be at WDW in July and DH and I always like to do date w/o kids. Any suggestions for an unforgettable evening. Last time we put kids in kids club and went to Yachtman Steakhouse but MIL will be with is this time, so we options are limitless.

    Hi Latoya,

How wonderful to be able to spend a night out just you and your husband while on vacation. My husband and I also always plan to have an adult-only night while we are at Walt Disney World. Let me give you some options for a wonderful evening.

One of my favorite resorts for an elegant evening is Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You could start at Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa with a massage for two. Afterwards, enjoy one of this resort's fantastic restaurants, whether you want to try seafood at Narcoossee's, Mediterranean-inspired dining at Citricos, or go all out with an amazing five-diamond meal at Victoria & Albert's.

Another evening filled with a different kind of fun is to spend some time walking around World Showcase at Epcot. While we love this area with our daughter, my husband and I realized when she was young that we did not often take the time to enjoy it slowly. Once when we had some time to ourselves, we walked around World Showcase and took in many of the entertainment acts. In between, we would wander through the unique merchandise locations and also get some delicious food and beverages.

Finally, how about spending some time at Disney Springs? There are many new restaurants here, including The Boathouse and Morimoto Asia Restaurant. You also experience the amazing Characters in Flight and soar high above Disney Springs in a tethered hot air balloon for a fantastic view of Walt Disney World.

I hope that these ideas are helpful for you, Latoya!
