We will be going to WDW on January 22nd for the weekend and while we are there we want to celebrate our Father's 70th brithday. There will be 10 people in our party. Do you have any suggestions for a a 70th birthday celebration for an avid Disney fan?

    Hi Staci,

Birthday celebrations are always extra special at Walt Disney World.  On the obvious side, you might consider getting a custom cake.  You can choose from a variety of cakes and shapes and have it personalized for your father.  It is available at most table service restaurants throughout Walt Disney World.  Just call the cake hotline in advance:  (407) 827-2253.  You might consider holding a special birthday dinner at the California Grill on top of Disney's Contemporary Resort.  The food is fabulous and the views, especially at night, are spectacular!

Other ideas that come to mind are specialty cruises.  You can do a Premium Magic Kingdom Wishes Cruise which will accommodate up to 10 guests.  You can also do a Celebration Magic Kingdom Wishes Cruise which is similar to the Premium but with decorations.  You may also enjoy an Epcot Illuminations Cruise, which can also accommodate up to 10 guests.

If you really want to do something spectacular then I recommend calling a Dream Maker at Disney Floral & Gifts.  They have done some amazing things in the past and they have ideas at various budget levels.  You can reach a Dream Maker at (407) 827-3505.

    Have a magical vacation!
