We will be at WDW January 2019. We are staying at Pop Century and have a 9:15 restaurant at Cinderella’s castle. What time should we leave the hotel to make it to our reservation on time? We have a five year old and a 6 month old in tow. Thanks!

Hey Howdy Hey, Kristen and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Just think, in less than two weeks your family will embark on the most magical journey to the most "Magical Place on Earth" and eat at the grandest castle of all, Cinderella Castle. This majestic fairytale "dream come true" is the perfect place to let fantasy and reality become one. I love this castle and all the special embellishments. Particularly, the tile mosaic in the castle tunnel that is composed of more that one million pieces of glass, gold, silver, and various jewels.

To avoid being like the White Rabbit from Disney's Alice in Wonderland, download the My Disney Experience app for your smartphone. Within this app, you will discover fantastic ways to keep organized and enjoying your vacation. One of the features is called "See Bus Times." It will give you up-to-the-minute estimates when the next bus to your favorite theme park will arrive so you are not waiting outside too long. Typically, buses run every 20 minutes. In the morning you may see buses more frequently because everyone is headed from their Resort hotel to the theme parks. Disney recommends giving yourself 90 minutes to travel anywhere in the "World" but this trip, by bus, takes about 25 minutes then another 10 minutes (depending on your walking speed) to Cinderella Castle. Total time I would budget is 45 minutes. Catch the bus between 7:45 am and 8:00 am and you will be "practically perfect in every way."

Disney Dad Tip: Gus and Jacques are in the Grand Hall at Cinderella Castle. Try and find them.

Kristen, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
