    We will be going to WDW in January 2016. It will be my son's 3rd birthday and want to do something really cool besides just the button. Cool restaurant, birthday events/ programs for boys? Suggestions??

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Renee ~

    I love celebrating special occasions with my boys at Walt Disney World! A character meal is a great way to celebrate. When my boys were that age, they loved Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace and Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Be sure you indicate that you will be celebrating a birthday when you make your reservations.

    Advanced Dining Reservations can be made online through the link shown above or by calling 407-WDW-DINE beginning 180-days prior to your trip. Make sure you make a note of your 180-day mark and start making your dining reservations. The most popular locations book up really fast.

    Here are some other ideas to make his birthday special:
    * The Pirates League - be sure to come back to participate in the Parade of Pirates in Adventureland.
    * Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage
    * A Pirate's Adventures: Treasures of the Seven Seas
    * Wilderness Explorers
    * Contact Disney Floral & Gifts. Their Dream Makers can help you plan anything including an in-room birthday celebration for him.

    At Downtown Disney, check out the LEGO Imagination Center and T-Rex.

    Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
