    Hello! We'll be at WDW January 2nd - January 8th. Will the Christmas lights and decorations still be up?

    Hi, Leah!

    Christmas  at Walt Disney World is one of the merriest experiences you can have anywhere! 

    Typically, the holiday decor can still be found at the theme parks and resorts until about January 3. After the new year arrives, some of the Christmas lights and ornaments will slowly begin to fade. However, since you arrive on January 2, you should still see some of the holiday splendor lingering for a while. But know that Cast Members are efficient at their jobs and holiday decor can come down quickly! So be sure to take in the holiday magic while you can. If you want to see some of the decorations at other Walt Disney World resorts, put that early in your schedule, so that you won't miss much!
