WDW in Jan. Making ADR's before I can book my package with DDP. So I will have to use a credit card for ADR's. Do they charge the card when I make the res? Or just if we don't show up? Just wondering how all that works for budgeting.

Hi Kris,

Sounds like you are getting a great head start on your planning, and that is music to my ears since I am of the same mindset!

To answer your question, many of the restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort require a credit card to secure a reservation. However, other than a select few, the card is not actually charged unless you do not show up and do not cancel the reservation within the cancellation deadline of 24 hours prior to the reservation. A select few reservations do require advance payment such as Cinderella's Royal Table and dinner shows such as Mickey's Backyard BBQ.
