We are going to WDW from Jan 15-23 and have made reservations at the California Grill. My daughter just turned 10 so according to her age she would have to order off of the adult menu. I'm not sure she can eat that much. Can she order off the kids menu?

    Hi Michael!

I took my son to California Grill in August of 2010 and he loved it!  It was so amazing watching Wishes after dinner on the roof of the Contemporary Resort with the Wishes soundtrack being piped in.  My son, who was twelve years old at the time, ordered his meal from the kid's menu. Any one, regardless of age can order from the kid's menu in Walt Disney World with the exception of a buffet meal where there is a set price for children (ages 3 to 9) and a set price for adults (ages 10 and up).  California Grill is a Signature Dining restaurant, which means if you have the Disney Dining Plan it is two Table Service Credits for one meal.  If your daughter chooses to order from the kid's menu, then you might save more by paying for her meal in cash rather than using two Table Service Credits for her kid's meal (kid's meals do not cost as much as adult meals).  You can save those two Table Service Credits to use for another meal later on in your stay.  I did this exact thing with my son at the California Grill and it worked great!  He ordered the Flat-bread Pizza from the kid's menu and it was plenty of food and very delicious.

I hope you have a dinner to remember with your family at the California Grill on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!
