    WDW Jan2010 w/ 2 girls 2&6. Not adding the PH option. Staying 5 nights and getting a 3 day base ticket. If we were to add WPs & more, what other things is there to do? It may be too cold for the water parks. Is it still worth it for our extra days?

    Although the pools at Disney are heated and at least one of the Water Parks will be open in January (they usually shut one down for refurbishment over the winter), that time of year is a bit unpredictable when it comes to pool weather.

    If it were me, I'd consider getting the 4- or 5-day base ticket for just a few dollars more than the three-day ticket.  It will give you a lot more bang for your buck in comparison to the Water Park option that's a full $50 more per person.  But don't feel like you have to make a decision in advance.  You can always upgrade your ticket once you arrive and see what the weather holds!
