    WDW Jan 2014. Getting ready to book our room. We are a group of 12 w/5 kids. Which resort wld you rec out of SSR, POR, or POFC? Also, which building to request. We will want pool view. But not necessarily the main pool. Wld rather be in a quieter area

    Howdy Kris!  This question has been such a fun one to answer!!!  There has been a great deal of discussion.  While all of the resorts are fantastic, the consensus is leaning toward Disney's Saratoga Spring Resort and Spa.

    Based on your party size, you could all stay in a 3-Bedroom Grand Villa at Saratoga Springs and enjoy every magical moment together.  You will enjoy wonderful amenities including a kitchen, washer and dryer and 4 full bathrooms.  

    There are some amazing pools at Saratoga Springs!!  You might consider The Paddock area.  The pool is great!!  In my humble opinion, it's one of the most amazing pools on Walt Disney World property!  The kids in your party will LOVE it!!

    As you know, Saratoga Springs and Port Orleans are both convenient to the great dining and shopping available at Downtown Disney.  Regardless of which resort you select, I know it will be an amazing vacation. 

    Of course, I am biased.  While I enjoy all of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, I love the amenities offered at the Disney Vacation Club Resorts.  However, in asking opinions in order to give you the best answer possible, I asked a variety of people, not all of whom are DVC Members.

    You can book your reservation on the Walt Disney World website or by calling (407) 939-1936.  Regardless of where you stay, you can ask the Cast Member in Reservations to make a note of your room request for a pool view.
