Hi Jennifer,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Wow! Your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is coming up soon!
In my experience, Orlando weather at that time of year can vary, especially from low to high temperatures each day. It can be chilly/cold at night but quite warm in the day. My suggestion would be to pack clothes that you can layer. Prior to every trip we always check the 10 day forecast on The Weather Channel. When I checked for your trip dates, it looks like the low temperatures will generally be in the 50's (Fahrenheit) and high temperatures will be in the upper 60's to low 70's. You could also try the MyRadar app to keep track of the weather during your visit. One of my fellow Moms Panelists loves that the app provides good information on approaching storms.
Weather forecasts can change, however. I always check up until the day before we depart. Just before one trip, the weather forecast predicted rain every day of our trip. As we got closer to the dates of the trip, however, the rain chances continued to decrease. While there, it never rained at all (which is unusual - we always prepare for some rain during our trips). I also always bring rain ponchos, jackets with hoods and at least one umbrella.
When you arrive, be sure to check the status of the pools. When I visited a few weeks ago, the temperatures were so cold that the pools were closed. Even if they are not closed during your visit, the low temperatures might eliminate pool time. So, just plan accordingly with some alternate activities!
Jennifer, also bring medications, sunscreen, tennis shoes and snacks. I also bring a backpack to carry in the parks. For additional packing tips, visit
