    going to wdw 04/24-05/02. im SO sad that space mountain & hall of pres will be closed. we are taking a 1st timer & i wanted her to see these. when things are closed for refurb do they somehow still give ppl an idea of what the attraction is or any

    As a former Hall of Presidents cast member, I appreciate that this was a must-see attraction for you!

    Unfortunately other than the exteriors of the building there won't be much for you to see during the refurbishment period. 

    What I would suggest would be to visit The American Adventure at Epcot, it is often compared to the Hall of Presidents and is an excellent example of audioanimatronic imagineering!
