Hi Lauren! I can absolutely understand wanting to see the Christmas decorations at the Walt Disney World Resort! They are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! I feel like Mickey and Minnie pour their hearts into decorating their Florida home for the holiday season! Some of my favorites include Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge!
The timing of your arrival will make a big difference in what you will get to see. If you arrive during the last week of December, you’ll see the Christmas decorations in the Walt Disney World Resort hotels (and parks too). However, once the calendar flips to January, the decorations begin a rather rapid disappearing act! The decorations start coming down during the first week of January. So, if you have your heart set on seeing the festive holiday decor, then you might want to set your sights on that final week of December rather than early January.
Lauren, if holiday decorations are a favorite, be sure to visit
Disney Springs. Here you will find the
Christmas Tree Stroll. The self-guided tour of the most perfectly decorated Christmas trees, all themed to favorite Disney characters, movies, and attractions, will be on display through December 30, 2024. It is a “must-see” for fans of Disney and Christmas!
Dreams do come true!
