Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Shawnee!
Congratulations on your upcoming honeymoon!!! I can't think of a better place to spend it than Disney! I did a bi-coastal Disney trip for my honeymoon and it was fabulous!
While I don't have a crystal ball and don't know for sure, I think you may see moderate crowd levels but will be slipping in just before the spring break crowds come in. You may notice the crowds levels rise towards the end of your trip.
A couple of events to keep your eyes open for are
Atlanta Braves Spring Training and the
Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. The 2014 dates haven't been announced yet but it is possible that some of the dates may coincide with your trip and you may get a chance to check one or both of them out.
The weather in March is typically pretty nice. The average high temperature is in the mid-70s and average lows are in the mid-50's. The humidity isn't very high so it makes for pleasant days in the parks. They usually get a little over 3 inches of rain for the month. Keep in mind that these are averages and its always possible that some sort of crazy weather pattern blows through while you're there. I always check the 10-day forecast online just before I make my final packing preparations to make sure I've got everything I think I'll need.
Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions! We're thrilled to help you plan your pixie dusted honeymoon!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
