We are going to WDW for our Honeymoon in March, and will be on the Deluxe Dining Plan. My question is What counts as an appetizer? If there's nothing I want on a menu under "appetizers" but there is a soup I'd like can that count as my appetizer?

    Hi  Sharla,

The definition of appetizer may vary from restaurant to restaurant, so you'll need to check with the server who is helping you. In fact, one of the first questions your server will ask is if you are on the dining plan, and s/he will ask to see your room key (to verify the exact dining plan you are on). Then, you'll likely find that the server will actually go over the different choices you have prior to your ordering since you have the dining plan. Oftentimes in my experience, appetizers are more than what is just listed under the menu as appetizer, but policies do change so I can't say that with 100% certainty.  And don't hesitate to ask, too!

Have a wonderful honeymoon!  By the way, have you ever visited www.disneyfoodblog.com?  I LOVE it for more information on Disney dining, especially all the tempting photos!
