Hello moms, I am going to WDW with a group of friends, and this is our first time without our parents budget helping us along :) I have gotten mixed answers regarding bringing our own food in to the parks; (the people at the hotel said NO). Can we?

Hi, Kristen!   I am sure your parents are going to miss not being with you on your first trip without them, so make sure to send them a postcard, they will really appreciate that!   And maybe a phone call or 2.   And a small souvenir.   OK, just a mom here who knows how they will feel!

But back to your question!   Yes, you can take food and beverages into the parks.   Where the "no" comes in will be no glass, alcohol, large coolers or coolers on wheels.    You can toss some goodies into a tote or backpack, or a small soft sided cooler.    If you don't want to carry around a heavy bag all day, lockers are available at each park near the entrance.

Have a great vacation with your friends, and don't forget to call your parents!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
