We are going to WDW with 2 girls in the age of 2 and 3 years old. Given their ages - which water park is more suitable - Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach?

    Teresa:

Our family has water park passes, and the kids prefer Blizzard Beach.  Although both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach sport kiddie areas, the one at Blizzard Beach is better defined, in my opinion, and there's no vegetation getting in the way of seeing my child on the slides.  I can also find plenty of lounge chairs near the child's area versus Typhoon Lagoon.  During our experience, my youngster was just a little too young for the cold water of TL's snorkeling area and too short to enjoy the huge waves of its wave pool.

Last thought: if your girls tire of Tike's Peak, the slides near the pre-teen section, Ski Patrol Training Camp, were also fun for my then-3-year-old last year.  The ski lift was another high point along with the family raft which is a longer ride than the one at Typhoon Lagoon.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
