We are going to WDW at GF for the first time in August with our 5 year old boys . We have quick service dining. Can we use two quick service meals for one character meal? Is this plan only for breakfast and dinner or can we use it for lunch and dinner?

    Hi Elaine,

Typically, you can't combine quick service meal credits for table service meals.  If you want to dine at a character meal, you'll have to pay out of pocket for that meal.  It is a fun, special treat and worth the splurge, in my opinion.

As for the meals your credits are valid, anything goes.  You can use them for breakfast, lunch or dinner.  Also, you're not limited to just two per day.  If you choose to use up all your credits on the first couple days of your trip by dining 3 times per day, that's your prerogative.

For example: Say you're staying 3 nights.  That would entitle you to six credits, right?  Okay, but your flight got in at 6:30 PM, and you grabbed dinner at the airport.  You'll still have 6 credits to use during the next 2 nights.  Maybe you'll choose to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner for the two days of your stay -- perfectly fine. The beauty of the dining plan is that it's completely flexible.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
