Hi Darlene,
I love to dream up new things to do at WDW too. I'll give you some options and you can pick and choose between the activities that interest your family. As frequent visitors, there may be some ideas that you've already done. Let's brainstorm...
If you are going during a holiday season, look for activities that are offered seasonally. For example, my family is taking a Haunted Carriage ride in Fort Wilderness during our October vacation.
-Fishing at Port Orleans Riverside, followed by taking the boat to Downtown Disney. It's a lovely journey.
-Family Magic
Tour
-Get haircuts at the Harmony Barbershop
-Take a fireworks cruise such as the
Pirates and Pal voyage.
-While touring, search for Hidden Mickeys
-Dress up like pirates at
The Pirate's League
-Attend a Movies Under the Stars
-Play
miniature golf
-Horseback riding or a wagon ride at Fort Wilderness
-Choose at least 2 entertainment options in each park that you've never stopped to enjoy on previous visits. Try the
JAMMitors in Epcot.
-Tour Epcot using a Candy Crawl. Visit www.disneyfoodblog and search for "Epcot candy crawl". We are doing this with our son on our next vacation!
Use your imagination and you'll discover wonderful new ways to tour WDW that you hadn't previously thought of. If you always have Chef Mickey's for dinner, go to breakfast instead.
Try pin trading in order to interact with cast members. Most of all, have fun!
