    We are going to WDW on 4/28-5/3. Are food is included in our package. I am wondering how much money should we bring with us? We our a family of 4 and are boys are 9 and 3 at the time of travel. We were going to take $1000.00 spending money. Is that enough?

    Answering budget related questions is always difficult as every family is different.

    What I can tell you is that when my family travel to Walt Disney World and have a holiday package which includes hotel room, park tickets and the disney dining plan, we only really spend money on gratuities and souvenirs. For us, $100.00 per day would be plenty to cover this but it really depends on how many souvenirs you plan to purchase.

    Perhaps you could give your boys a set amount of money each to spend during your stay and then once you come to the end of your trip, if you have any money left over, you could treat them a little more. This has always worked well with my Son and we find that he is much more careful on what he spends his money on when it is coming out of his allowance.
