Going to WDW and other Florida Disney Parks in NOVEMBER 2017, want to fine: 1) Where can we take pictures with Wall-E? 2) Is there still a place to get a picture/meet with McQueen and Mater? Thank you!

    Hi Emily!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I'm so happy to hear you have plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort in November. What a great time to visit - the weather is a little cooler, and the crowds are a little smaller (except during the week of Thanksgiving). During November, the parks and resort hotels will also be decorated for the holidays - what fun!

At this time, there is no place to get a photo with WALL-E, the title character of the 2008 animated Disney movie. Oh how I love that movie, and the love story of WALL-E and EVE. I've seen WALL-E merchandise for sale in retail locations throughout Walt Disney World, so maybe that's something you'll want to look out for.

As for Mater and Lightning McQueen, they used to have a meet and greet location in Disney's Hollywood Studios, but haven't been there for some time. I'm hoping that with the popularity of the new Cars 3 movie they might bring them back! If you have a really big Cars fan in the family, you could always hop a bus over to Disney's Art of Animation Resort, where life-sized Lightning McQueen and Sally Carrera cars (as well as other characters from the movie, including Tow Mater!) provide amazing photo ops in a resort area designed to look just like Radiator Springs.

Please let us know if you have further questions before your November vacation - we're happy to help! - Diane W.
