Hi Gale,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this question to us!
My family needs to eat before 10:00 p.m. as well so I understand your dilemma. We adore
The Edison at Disney Springs. The decor makes us feel as if we are right in the midst of the great inventor's workshop. When we have dined in the past prior to 10:00 p.m., we have encountered different entertainers. By far, my girls' favorite was the entertainer on stilts. She was dressed like a Flapper from the 1920's, spent time chatting with us at our table, and took a picture with our girls. Although entertainment is always subject to change, we have not been disappointed.
Be sure to make advanced dining reservations and, if using
Walt Disney World® Bus Service, allow plenty of time to get to your dining experience. We typically allow at least an hour and a half to get to Disney Springs.
On our most recent visit, we also enjoyed a movie at
AMC® Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theaters. The food service was lovely and the theater seating relaxing. If you have time before or after dinner, also take a stroll and enjoy some of the outdoor entertainment. On each of our visits, we have encountered an array of bands or groups performing.
Gale, as you make your plans for The Edison, remember to review the menu prior to your visit. My family always checks the
dinner menu prior to our visit so that we can expedite our meal service. As soon as we sit down, we know what we would like to order. After all, we have parks to visit and rides to conquer!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
