We are going to WDW the first week of January. How long will the Christmas parade run at the Magic Kingdom?

    Hi Connie ~

Your trip will be here before you know it and I bet you're getting more excited by the moment!

Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is part of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) which is held at the Magic Kingdom in early November up until about a week before Christmas. The 2013 MVMCP events are being held on select evenings beginning November 8th - December 20th.

However, beginning December 21, 2013, Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom will be able to enjoy some of the things that, up until that time, will only be offered during MVMCP. Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will run in the afternoon December 21st through December 31st, 2013 instead of the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. Guests can also see Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season as the featured nighttime extravaganza December 21st through December 31st, 2013.

The online calendar shows that starting January 1, 2014, the afternoon parade returns to the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade and Wishes returns as the nighttime fireworks.

To check the schedules on the day of your visit, pick up a Times Guides as you enter the park, merchandise locations or Guest Relations. You can also find entertainment schedules by downloading the My Disney Experience Mobile App. This app is free and available for both iPhones and Androids.
