Hi! We are going to WDW the first week of Dec 2011 and found out about the Pop Warner group. I heard that they close DHS one evening early to accommodate the group. Do you know if that date has been set? We want to avoid that park that day. Thanks! :)

Hi Tawn,

Actually, Disney Hollywood Studios does not close early for the Pop Warner party. It is held after-hours once the park closes to the general public. I would still avoid the Studios on that day however as many of the students will arrive early using regular park admission and plan on being at that park for the party as well.

Last year, the party was on December 8, 2010.

This year, the Pop Warner Championship games take place December 3 - 10, 2011. I have not seen a schedule with the party listing as of yet.
