We will be at WDW the first week of August and have the deluxe dining plan. I have already made reservations for all of our breakfast's and dinners but am wondering about lunch. Should I make lunch reservations or just go with the flow?

    Hi Brandi,

I hope you are ready to eat like you've never eaten before, the Deluxe Dining Plan, WOW!  If you are planning on eating lunch in Counter Service restaurants, you will not need to make reservations but if you are planning Table Service restaurants (which would be the best bet for you to choose as this is what you are entitled to on the Deluxe Dining Plan and would be the best value for you, then I would probably make reservations to avoid any disappointments).  Even though it is for lunch, the more popular restaurants will fill up whether it is for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. You can always cancel them while you are on vacation if they don't fit into your daily schedule, but I think it's better to have them and not worry about where you will be able to eat if it's busy.  It will be like following a plan each and every day and I would not like to be bound in that kind of way while vacationing at WDW but if I had the Deluxe Dining Plan, I would definitely make the most of it and make as many reservations as possible to enjoy it!  Have fun.

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
