we will be at WDW 12/3-12/9 This will be our first trip!(2 adults 5 kids 1,3,6,9,12) We will be staying at Bonnett Creek Resort. We have free transport to parks. What would be the cheapest route for us for parks and dinning? Is this a good time to visit?

    Hi Heather,

The holiday season is a wonderful time of the year to visit Walt Disney World. It's absolutely festive and should be a must on every Disney fan's list!

For your park tickets, you'll want to first decide how many days you'll be spending in the WDW parks. You'll have Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios to choose from.

Next, you'll have to decide if you'll be park hopping. Park hoppers allow your family to start at one park in the morning and then hop to another park later in the day. Since this is your first trip and you have a large traveling party, it may be easier to visit one park per day. You can return to Bonnet Creek for a rest mid-day and then return to the same park in which you toured earlier that day for an evening visit.

I suggest at least 2 days for Magic Kingdom or 1 day at MK and one evening at the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. 1 day at Disney's Hollywood Studios, 1 day at Animal Kingdom and 2 days at Epcot.

Skip the water parks this time as you'll have plenty of other things to do on this first WDW vacation!

For dining, you'll want to first make sure to have any table service restaurants reserved in advance. They will be booked solid soon. To save money, have a late breakfast and call it brunch! Morning meals are less expensive. Dine at lunch time at a table-service restaurant instead of dinner when it's more expensive.

    Have a magical visit!!
