We are going to WDW for the first time with our 6 yr daughter and 4 yr old son (surprise Xmas present)- 6days/5nights at Wilderness Lodge, deluxe dining plan, Park Hopper. What would be your top 10 for attractions / rides / dining / other experiences???

    Hi Leslie:

I have a five year old and a four year old and have been traveling to Walt Disney World with them since they were infants. Keep in mind, there are way more than ten must-do attractions and activities, but here's a top-ten list. Your family may have different tastes, but hopefully these recommendations (in no particular order) will be a good start to planning your trip:
    1. Pirates of the Caribbean (Magic Kingdom)
    2. Toy Story Mania (Hollywood Studios)
    3. Princess makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Pirate makeover at Pirate's League (Magic Kingdom)
    4. Peter Pan's Flight (Magic Kingdom)
    5. Soarin' (Epcot)
    6. Characters in Flight balloon ride (Downtown Disney)
    7. Muppet Vision 3-D (Hollywood Studios)
    8. Kilimanjaro Safari  (Animal Kingdom)
    9. The Boneyard play area (Animal Kingdom)
    10. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Magic Kingdom)

Bonus: Take a Railroad ride around the Magic Kingdom. Or hop on the monorail for a ride.

As for dining, I would consider:

    1. California Grill
    2. Le Cellier
    3. Jiko
    4. Coral Reef
    5. Raglan Road
    6. Biergarten
    7. 50's Prime Time Café
    8. Whispering Canyon Café
    9. Chef Mickey's
    10. 'Ohana

    Enjoy your vacation.
