    We are going to WDW first time in Oct we will be going to the Halloween party, and visiting the MK and HStudios This is a surprise and wanted to ask about dressing up for 8 year old daughter, dress as princess or not?

    Hi Stacy,

    How fun! A lot of 8 year old girls are still fans of the Princesses, so if your daughter likes them then I would have her dress as her favorite Princess. My 8 year old is just on the edge and so she chose Hannah Montana last year. She has mentioned that she would like to dress as Jasmine this year, but I'm sure that will change many times before October.

    Last year, we booked reservations at The Pirates League before Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for all of our kids. They got make-overs and then attended the Party as Pirates and Pirate Empresses. It was a lot of fun for them. My 8 year old daughter in particular really seemed to enjoy the style that she got. I bought a girl pirate costume online before we went.
