    Going to WDW for first time ever, older kids (bs 24 & 12, gs 23 & 19). Visiting DHS for Star Wars Wknd, Ty Lagoon, and AK. Can we skip MK? What is there for these ages? No princesses here but a VERY tight budget. Thanks!

    Hi Lisa - there are things for adults/teens at the Magic Kingdom, but it's something you could skip if you are only looking to do a few select things on your first trip.  Here are a few things I think you'd enjoy:

    Space Mountain
    Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    Splash Mountain
    Pirates of the Caribbean (who doesn't love that ride?)
    The Haunted Mansion

    If none of these appeal to you, perhaps you can skip it.  If you do think they are something you'd enjoy, maybe you can either visit one evening?
