Hello! Going to WDW for the first time for 10 days..with a 6 day pass. Do you have any suggestions for a value resort My boys are 7&5 . .If you go a park one day can you return to the same park that same day? or do you need a hopper pass?? thanks

    Hello, Charmaine!

Wow!  Your first trip to Walt Disney World is ten days long! What a treat! (And very smart of you, too, so that you'll have so much more time to enjoy the parks and your resort as well!)

I have to say that I really like Disney's All-Star Music.  The food court is great, and the pool activities will keep your boys involved on those days when you're not in the parks.  If, however, your stay is planned for May 2012 or later, then you might want to check out one of Walt Disney World's newest properties, Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  This resort will include sections designed after Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid.  These areas of the resort are Imagineered to be character-focused, immersing the Guests in character experiences, including the details outside as well as inside the rooms.

Park Passes? Once you enter a park using your multi-day pass, you may exit and re-enter that park as many times as you'd like.  The Park Hopper option will allow you to exit one park and enter a second, or third, park on the same day.  So, if your plans include heading back to your hotel for a nap, a swim or a change of clothes, you can re-enter that same park, should you wish to do so, later that same day, even without the Park Hopper option.

By the way, for one of your non-park days, I recommend that you spend some time at Downtown Disney. There are plenty of activities for you and your boys to fill up an entire day or night there.  With many shops, restaurants and even a movie theater, you will really enjoy exploring all that Downtown Disney has to offer without needing a park pass.

Please send me any additional questions as you plan your fantastic first foray to Walt Disney World!
