Hi! We are going to WDW for the first time. Our dates are 10/29 through 11/5. We will be spending Halloween at magic kingdom. I wanted to know if it will be crowded for the week that we are going? and when do the decoration change?

    Hi, Victoria!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

During your visit, not only will you be at Walt Disney World during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, but also the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. Even though these 2 events draw crowds, the time of your visit should be rather moderate. So, fighting heavy crowds should not be a problem, as most families are home due to school obligations.

There is a chance that you will be able to see Halloween decorations come down and many of the Christmas holiday decorations go up, as the resorts and the parks prepare for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which begins November 7 and other holiday activities.

I wish you a bit of extra pixie dust that will allow you to enjoy 2 magical holidays, Halloween and Christmas, during your Disney vacation!

If you have more questions regarding your upcoming vacation, please visit with us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Happy planning!
