We are going to WDW for the first time to celebrate my daughter's birthday, staying 3 nts at Wilderness Lodge. We arrive early and plan on doing lunch @ TREX and dinner at Chef Mickeys that night. Any suggestions for what we should do in between?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Cara ~

Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate a birthday! You're going to love the Wilderness Lodge - it is so beautiful!

I'm not sure how old your daughter will be, but if she is between the ages of 3 and 12, she may enjoy a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique while you're at Downtown Disney. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling 407-WDW-STYLE.

She may also enjoy a trip to the World of Disney Store near T-REX. They have a large room devoted to girls that includes tons of Princess things. Look for the Magic Mirror in the Princess Room. Be sure to have your daughter stand in front of it and see what happens. Have your camera ready!

We also love Characters in Flight at Downtown Disney. It gives you a great view.

Spend some time relaxing and exploring the Wilderness Lodge. Their pool is amazing and we love watching the geyser erupt nearby.

Tri-Circle-D Ranch is near the Wilderness Lodge and is home to Cinderella's Ponies. It is nice to spend some quiet time there or taking a carriage ride.

Go on a Monorail Resort tour. Take a boat from the Wilderness Lodge to the Contemporary Resort. Take the time to explore it and then climb aboard the Resort Monorail and head to the Polynesian Resort to explore. From there, take the monorail around to the Grand Floridian Resort and check it out too. You can complete your tour back at the Contemporary in time for your reservations at Chef Mickey's.
