We will be at WDW the first of June for my daughter's 9th birthday. Her birthday is not actually until July 10th. Because of scheduling, we can't go on her birthday. Will it be inappropriate to let her get a birthday pin and celebrate? Thanks.

    Hi Kristie,

First of all, Happy Birthday to your princess!!  Taking a trip to Walt Disney World is definitely a great way to celebrate the occasion at any time of the year.  It's absolutely acceptable to ask for a birthday pin.  Just go to guest services inside the parks or the front desk of your resort if you're staying on property.  In fact, the cast member who does your check in will most likely ask if you are celebrating anything special.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
