Hello! I am going to WDW with my fiance this August (24th-31st). We did not purchase vacation insurance upon booking our package, is it too late to do so? I'm worried about the possible heavy rain and hurricanes. How bad is the weather in late August?

    Hi Tabitha,

It may be early enough for you to add the trip insurance to your vacation package.   I would call Disney (or your travel agent if you booked though one) to see if this is possible.  I usually opt out of the vacation insurance unless I'm traveling during hurricane season - you never know what mother nature will bring.

In case you or others would like to read about Disney's Hurricane Policy, you can find it here.

    I hope this helps.  Diane
