I will be going to WDW in a few weeks and will be staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. I was thinking of bringing a laptop but I am not sure if I would actually use it. Could you tell me any advantages in bringing a laptop?

Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

My husband typically brings his along in order to check emails while he is away from his office.  However, he NEVER takes is laptop to any of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. You do not want to risk anything happening to it and really there is no reason to use it while on vacation. There are too many negative factors such as the weather, the risk of dropping it and losing it.  With today's technology, you have so many other choices out there.  I recommend bringing a camera or a smart phone in order to take some fabulous pictures and to have the My Disney Experience at your fingertips.  My advice would be to leave it at home. If you choose to bring it along, refrain from bringing it into the parks.

Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel.  Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  We are always ready to offer great tips and advice.  May your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories.
