We were in WDW in February 2022 and Typhoon Lagoon was open. In our February 2023 trip Blizzard Beach was open, now we are looking forward to our trip to WDW in February 2024 and am I correct that Blizzard Beach will be open again this February 2024?

    Cowabunga Erin!

I am sure you are thrilled to hit the waves so soon on your visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Your magical adventure is only moments away. Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney.

As a Colorado gal where our temperatures aren't quite as warm as Florida, I love to visit the Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks--especially during our winter months. Checking the park calendar, I see that hours are listed for Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park through February 24, 2024, so I would say yes, you are correct that it will be open during your stay. If you didn't do it last time, I recommend a trip down Summit Plummet! With an almost 12-story drop, it is not for the faint of heart, but it's so much fun! If calmer experiences are more your thing, Teamboat Springs is a great adventure for your whole group. All that excitement creates quite an appetite and no trip to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is complete for me without some mini donuts. They're so good!

Depending on when you are visiting the water park, you may be able to still book a Polar Patio or a Lodge Umbrella. They do book up rather quickly, but I have had luck with reserving one last minute before, so it's always worth checking. You never know when you'll find a little extra pixie dust.

Have an incredible vacation, Erin! Please come see us again if we can help you with anything else.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
