I will be going to WDW Feb 4 2026. We are staying at POP. How are the wait times this time of year? Will we truly need Multi pass? (Just 2 travelers) Thanks

Welcome back to planDisney, Betsy! How exciting that you're planning a Walt Disney World vacation for next February. Pop Century is one of my favorite resorts because of the fun theming and, of course, the Skyliner access, so it's going to be such a great home base for your trip.

So let's talk about crowds and wait times around the beginning of February. This time of year is generally considered a moderate crowd season. You're coming after the holiday rush and before the spring break crowds start to roll in, which means the parks tend to feel a little more relaxed than those peak periods. That said, crowd levels can always be a bit unpredictable. Weather, special events, and even conventions in town can all have an impact on how busy the parks feel on any given day.

As for whether Lightning Lane Multi Pass is needed, that really depends on your style of park touring, but I think it's always worth considering, especially at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom is packed with attractions, and having Lightning Lane access to a few headliners can really make a huge difference in how many experiences you can fit into your day.

Over at Hollywood Studios, if you want to ride popular attractions like Slinky Dog Dash, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, and Tower of Terror, it's definitely worth considering Lightning Lane Multi Pass so you can skip some of those standby lines and hit more rides without spending a lot of time in your day waiting.

If you're planning a more relaxed pace or you've visited before and are okay skipping some of the top-tier attractions, you might find you're fine without it at parks like EPCOT or Animal Kingdom. But if you want to maximize your time and check off as many must-dos as possible, it's a solid investment.

No matter what you choose, you're in for a magical trip. Please let us know if you'd like to brainstorm some park day strategies or pick some Lightning Lane priorities. We're always happy to help!
