I am a WDW fanatic with very little knowledge of DL, looking to make my first DL trip in 2013 - historically what are the least crowded times to visit DL?

I am so happy to help you plan your trip to the Disneyland Resort. You are going to love it here. As a fan of Walt Disney World you will feel right at home at the Happiest Place on Earth. You will find yourself comparing attractions like the Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion and 'it's a small world,' just to name a few. Additionally, you will get to enjoy so may of the great attraction that are only on the west coast like Indiana Jones Adventure, a wild ride where we join the great Indiana Jones for a daring journey in search of unimaginable rewards. Additionally, Cars Land is about to open at Disney California Adventure Park and I am sure it is going to be the most amazing fun that a family can have. As for the best time to visit, the least crowded times are mid-January, the end of Easter through before Memorial Day and in the fall after Thanksgiving. The fall and winter are a great time to visit because Disneyland has some amazing attraction overlays that only are around for a limited time. The Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain and 'it's a small world' all take on a fresh new look that is totally worth seeing. I have not even mentioned any of the great places to stay and dine while at the Disneyland Resort. I am really happy to assist you and your family in making magical memories at my home away from home, Disneyland. Feel free to ask away and I will see you at the parks real soon.
