Have never been to WDW in the fall. Will be there during the food & wine festival (Oct. 19-26)but according to the calendar, this was a low crowd time to go.Are we going to be disappointed with the crowds from the food & wine festival?

I wouldn't worry about it Tammy.  It's true that the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot is a popular event that many guests flock to.  Some of the biggest crowds, though, occur on weekends when locals visit to try the delicious offerings from around the world.  I'd just keep that fact in mind in planning your itinerary during your stay.  Avoid Epcot on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if you can.  Plan to visit one of the other parks on those days, or just relax poolside at your resort.  Then, be sure to head to Epcot during the week to try out some of those worldly foods and fine wines.

The fall decorations at the Magic Kingdom last year were fabulous.  I'm sure that you'll enjoy both your first Fall trip, and visit to the Food and Wine Festival!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
