We are going to WDW at the end of September and am wondering if going to the waterparks is worth it or is it too cool this time of year?

My family has vacationed at WDW in September for years.  One problem we've yet to run into is the weather being "too cool" to do anything.  You will find that a typical late September day at WDW is quite warm indeed.  And humid.  You should also plan on afternoon rain, that way you can be pleasantly surprised on those afternoons when it doesn't fall.

We spent an afternoon at each of the water parks last year during our late September trip.  Both visits provided nice relief from steamy temperatures as did the time we spent at the resort pool.

One thing to be mindful of is that the water parks sometimes close when thunderstorms threaten.  If you want to avoid the possibility of closures affecting your visit, plan to go at opening because in my experience the rain almost always comes in the late afternoon.
